When and when not to.

There’s an unwritten social rule regarding disclosing content or sensitive, criminal activity to authority persons or those in law enforcement. This word has been attached to person or persons who would take it upon themselves to seek out law enforcement or those in authority when the importance of”information” is needed resolve a wrong or solve an active investigation. This word took shape on playground–at first–as as a sobriquet, like “tattle tail”, and maturated into a more criminally-used moniker: snitch.

I personally feel the guidelines regarding when to or not to “tattle” lies within a gray area that is almost forgotten by those abhor the act: whether or not you or someone you know is the victim. Whether or not what you have to say can save a life today or many lives later.
